It’s the middle of January, which means Valentine’s Day is around the corner. It’s clear as soon as I walk into any store. Red and pink and hearts everywhere. Maybe I’m a Valentine’s Scrooge, but a lot of it seems juvenile to me. That’s why I set out to create a unique Valentine’s sensory bottle that feels a little more grown up and sophisticated… not that I claim to be either of those things!
A while back I purchased a couple of glitter caddies that have super cute tiny hearts in them and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to put them to use. It took a few tries to figure out which colors would look good together and how much glitter to use, but I am super happy with the results.
The hearts look like they are raining down in the bottle. The glitter tinted the water a light rosy color, which ended up being a pretty surprise. It’s not bright pink and red, so it looks kind of classy (in the opinion of someone who knows nothing of fashion – me).

“We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgement; because as He is, so also are we in this world.”
